Update

It's been awhile since I posted a blog. Not a lot has happened. Shi turned 1 in May and is walking like a champ and starting to spit out some words. She's a mess. So is Splasher. They are so funny together. They're getting to the age where they can actually play together. Shi beats up on him now. He beats back...vice versa.... It's crazy at my house. They love each other though. Splasher is really protective. Like he's the only person/thing that can get away with hurting her. Shy is also at the age where she constantly has to be entertained. Splasher is just growing out of that phase. I still get nervous when they both quiet down though.

I've been working like crazy and really liking my job but I'm ready to get back into school. I've decided to go back when my company moves to OKC. Hopefully, I'll be able to go to OSU for environmental science and pre-law. After that maybe Tulsa University for law school. The environment is something I'm passionate about so I think that it will be a really good career choice for me.

Cody got a new job recently. He loves it and it really kind of provides the lifestyle change our family needed. We're getting caught up but as soon as we're caught up we should be able to be comfortable and maybe start saving for some fun things we want to do. His job will afford him the opportunity to go to OSU for Chemical Engineering so in about 3 years or so he will be able to maybe have an even better job with better pay. We'll see. He's really excited and I am very proud of him.

We're both doing "1776" at Gaslight this summer. It's great to be doing a show with my husband and I think he is really enjoying it as well. My mom is also doing it so I'm having a lot of fun being on stage with her again. I'm Abigail Adams, whom I have learned a lot about. She was actually a very interesting woman and the love story of John and Abigail Adams is a very good one. The show is turning out very well. I mean, I expected as much. The director is one of my favorite people to work with when it comes to Gaslight and she always produces wonderful shows.

We're moving soon. Just to another house. It's a three bedroom house on the other side of town. We need it. The kids need their own space. It's a beautiful little house but needs some work. A friend and co-worker of mine is the one who owns it. I'm excited to rent it from her and help them get the house back to how it looked when they lived there. Cody and I really like her and her family so I think it will be a great experience.

Well, thats about all that's up in our little corner of the world.
